Responsibilities Lead the installation of residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment with accuracy and efficiency. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure proper system setup. Perform comprehensive system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Conduct maintenance on existing systems, including appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, and mechanical adjustments. Collaborate with clients to explain system operations and provide guidance on proper usage and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all installation activities. Mentor junior technicians on installation techniques, safety procedures, and technical troubleshooting. Requirements Proven experience as a installer in residential HVAC Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC/R systems, schematics interpretation, and HVAC design principles. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R), and property maintenance. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with electrical components is essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with field service operations is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction practices relevant to HVAC installations; ability to work safely at heights or confined spaces when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to work effectively with clients and team members.
