Job Overview We are actively seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team this week! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. Duties Perform comprehensive HVAC system repairs, including troubleshooting electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing components. Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and building automation systems, ensuring adherence to schematics and design specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to optimize performance and extend system lifespan. Use hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Interpret technical schematics and HVAC design documents to facilitate precise repairs and installations. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction throughout service visits. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or mechanic with a strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems enhances your ability to handle complex projects effectively. Skilled in reading schematics, electrical systems diagnostics, plumbing layouts, and HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting using various tools including hand tools and electrical testers like ohmmeters. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, building automation systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems repair is highly desirable. Valid EPA certification (Environmental Protection Agency) for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or HVAC/R are a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills ensures you deliver quality work while maintaining positive client relationships.
