Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the diagnostic testing, repair, and maintenance of residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems across Long Island. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who values technical excellence and provides top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities Diagnostics & Repair :
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems (including boilers, furnaces, central air, and heat pumps).
Maintenance :
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
Compliance :
Ensure all work meets local Long Island building codes and NY State safety standards.
Customer Relations :
Clearly explain technical issues to customers and provide honest recommendations for repairs or replacements.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate digital records of parts used, work performed, and technical notes via our mobile dispatching system.
Required Qualifications Experience :
Minimum of 2-4 years of field experience in HVAC service and repair.
Certification :
EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
IS REQUIRED.
Driver's License :
Must have a valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving record.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools (multimeters, pressure gauges, etc.).
Physical Ability :
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight spaces (crawl spaces/attics) as required by Long Island residential architecture. Must have own tools. Required Qualifications NATE Certification. Experience with high-efficiency heat pump installations (NYSERDA programs). OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety Certification. Benefits Competitive hourly salary ($28.00 + based on experience). Company service vehicle and specialized tools provided. Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday pay. $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
