HVAC Lab Technician - Heat Transfer

Johnson Service Group is seeking an HVAC Lab Technician to support the testing, evaluation, and development of HVAC systems in a laboratory environment. This role focuses on performance testing, product validation, and ensuring accurate, timely data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain HVAC test facilities and equipment Install, instrument, and troubleshoot test samples and systems Execute test plans and ensure data accuracy and delivery timelines Support prototype fabrication, lab modifications, and continuous improvements Perform preventative maintenance on lab equipment

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Associate degree with 1+ year EPA 608 Certification Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and lab or mechanical environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with MS Office and data acquisition systems Experience with hand/power tools, brazing, refrigerant handling, and basic electrical work Ability to read schematics and follow test procedures #
