Job Summary A leading commercial HVAC and building automation contractor is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join its growing service team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working in commercial, institutional, and mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing complex HVAC systems, performing advanced diagnostics, and supporting building automation/control systems across a wide range of commercial facilities. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC equipment including: Chillers Boilers RTUs VAV systems Hydronic systems Pumps and associated mechanical equipment Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues Interface with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control sequences Communicate professionally with customers, facility managers, and project teams Complete service documentation and reports accurately Support start-ups, commissioning, and system optimization activities Mentor junior technicians when needed Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with BAS/BMS controls preferred Ability to work independently in the field EPA Certification required Valid driver's license required Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems Experience in hospitals, laboratories, data centers, or institutional facilities is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Full benefits package Union benefits and pension available Stable, long-term career opportunity with growth potential If this position is of interest, please apply or reach out to Jake directly.
