This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of the HVAC industry from experienced professionals while building a long-term career with a company that invests in its employees. As an HVAC Installer Assistant, you will work alongside experienced HVAC technicians to assist with the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will receive hands-on training while developing the technical skills necessary to become a skilled HVAC professional. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, and related equipment Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites Learn to read specifications and installation instructions Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist with system startups and basic testing Assist with installation of duct work, refrigerant lines, gas piping, electrical connections, and condensate drainage Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and management Qualifications HVAC trade school experience is a plus but not required 1-3 years of experience preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments Ability to lift 50+ pounds Strong customer service and communication skills Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid on-the-job training Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Company Paid Life Insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Stable, year-round employment Ongoing professional development and technical training About Ryan Plumbing Company Overview Since 1999, Ryan Plumbing & Heating has provided various mechanical and energy system solutions to property owners in the Greater Rochester, NY region.
