Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate effectively and efficiently.
NO ON-CALL SCHEDULE.
Duties
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in commercial properties.
  • Conduct routine inspections of heating and cooling systems to identify potential issues.
  • Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems within HVAC units.
  • Perform equipment repairs and replacements as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns promptly.
  • Design and implement effective solutions for improving system performance.
  • Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each job. Skills
  • Proficient in HVAC/R systems installation and repair techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Experience with equipment repair and property maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with electrical components related to HVAC systems, including the use of diagnostic tools like Ohmmeters.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles to job sites.

Working Conditions:
This role is frequently traveling from business to business locally. The job involves both indoor and outdoor work, exposure to various weather conditions, and physical activities such as lifting and bending. Work hours may vary depending on project deadlines and schedules. Normal Working Hours This is a full-time nonexempt position answering service calls between the hours of 7:00am-4:30pm. Hours and shifts may vary depending on business needs.
