Job Description

Job Overview Growing Akron/Cleveland/Youngstown mechanical service company is looking for a Commercial/Industrial HVAC+R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) Installer/Technician. Must have at least 5 years of experience and a valid driver's license. Company service van, tools, uniforms, phone provided. Pay scale based on experience- paid holidays-paid vacation time-retirement annuity/401k Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair Commercial/Industrial HVAC systems including packaged rooftop units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, water source heat pumps Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise installation and maintenance procedures. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment, including refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing as well as diagnostic devices. Troubleshoot and Diagnose mechanical issues with various building automation systems, providing effective field service repairs on-site. Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments and property maintenance. Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and repairs. Experience operating field service tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic devices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and safety protocols for equipment repair. Mechanical background with mechanic experience in industrial or commercial settings is highly desirable.
