Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Air Conditioning Technician, where your expertise will keep our systems running smoothly and efficiently! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance for our clients. What you'll do Maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and HVAC units to ensure they operate efficiently. Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately. Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC/R (Refrigeration) systems to prevent breakdowns. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. Conduct refrigeration system checks, including ammonia refrigeration systems when applicable. Provide exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with clients about their HVAC needs. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and equipment used. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and property maintenance. Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design. Experience in field service roles with a focus on customer satisfaction is a plus. Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in welding or boiler maintenance are advantageous.
