As a member of our Facilities team, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, comfortable environment where patients, families, and caregivers can feel at ease. You'll gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of projects and HVAC systems across our facilities, train on the latest technology, and receive ongoing support and mentorship from experienced caregivers and leadership. A caregiver in this position works 2 nd shift, 2:30pm—11:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Regularly inspect, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration/air conditioning systems and other equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, medical and process chillers, cooling equipment, cryogenic freezers and rooftop heating/cooling units. Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic controls, solid state microprocessors and system alarms. Repair refrigerant leaks and evacuate and adjust refrigerant charges. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High school diploma or GED State of Ohio EPA approved certificate for either Type I and Type II or Universal Refrigerant Systems Service Three years of experience as a commercial/ residential air conditioning refrigeration technician. Military experience as a Machinists Mate, Utilities man , Utilities Equipment Repairer or a similar role will be considered Formal vocational classroom study in refrigeration, air conditioning and/or air handling may substitute up to 1 year of experience Can read electric schematic diagrams Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Completion of a formal HVAC/Refrigeration training program Work experience in a hospital setting

Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.) Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.) Ability to inspect equipment Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures Ability to distinguish color Ability to climb ladders

Pay Range Minimum hourly:
$27.65 Maximum hourly: $42.17 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
