About the Job You ensure HVAC systems perform exactly as designed. In this hands-on role, you test, adjust, and balance air and water (hydronic) systems to meet project specifications and industry standards. If you enjoy technical work, problem solving, and seeing the real-world impact of your work, this role is for you. What You'll Be Doing Test, adjust, and balance (TAB) air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to meet design specifications. Inspect systems to verify compliance with project plans and identify performance issues. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data. Accurately document all testing, adjusting, and balancing activities using project-specific reporting procedures. What You Bring to the Table High school diploma or GED required. NEBB or AABC certification preferred, but not required. Strong math skills, including calculations related to air and water (hydronic) balancing. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical documents, and Statements of Work (SOWs). Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
