Service, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, VRF/VRV systems, pumps and related equipment. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on HVAC systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Perform general maintenance on electrical and plumbing systems to support overall building operations. Complete startups, seasonal changeovers, and system calibrations for HVAC and mechanical equipment Work closely with the facilities management team to ensure all systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used. Respond to emergency calls and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial/industrial HVAC technician. Hands-on experience with chillers and boilers (required). Familiarity with pumps, cooling towers, VFDs, hydronic systems and air distribution equipment. Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-related issues. Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to solve problems and complete tasks effectively. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals. Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude. Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment. EPA 608 Universal Certification. Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with large-tonnage chillers, boilers and industrial mechanical systems. Additional HVAC, chiller, boiler, electrical, or plumbing certifications preferred.
