Job Description
Overview NexGen Construction Group is launching a new HVAC Division, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC professional who wants to help build something from the ground up. This position will begin as a hands on HVAC technician role responsible for service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for our growing Residential and Commercial customer base. As the division grows, this individual will transition into the HVAC Service Manager role, helping lead operations, develop processes, hire technicians, and oversee the department's continued expansion. We're looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to get in on the ground floor, establish a strong foundation, and grow into a leadership position as the business expands. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior technician, lead technician, or current service manager who wants to play a key role in building a successful HVAC operation. Key Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial HVAC service, maintenance, and repair work Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues Build strong relationships with customers and represent NexGen professionally Help establish service procedures, standards, and best practices Assist with business development and identifying growth opportunities Support recruiting, training, and onboarding future technicians Transition into a management role as the division grows Lead daily service operations and technician scheduling as additional team members are added Help shape the future direction of the HVAC department What Makes This Opportunity Different This is not a traditional Service Manager position where you'll inherit an existing department. You'll be helping create it. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow from a lead technician role into the manager of a department they helped build, with significant influence over its future direction and success.
