Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed HVAC Journeyman to join our team. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring comfort and quality living for our residents. As an Apartment Licensed HVAC Journeyman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing HVAC systems across our apartment complexes.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems in apartment units and common areas. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues promptly and effectively. Install new HVAC equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards. Conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of HVAC systems and minimize disruptions to residents. Respond to emergency maintenance requests related to HVAC systems. Collaborate with property management teams to schedule maintenance and repairs with minimal impact on residents. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Requirements:
Current HVAC Journeyman license. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, preferably in residential settings. Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC equipment and systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with property management teams and residents. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform duties requiring bending, kneeling, and crawling in tight spaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
EPA Universal Certification. Experience with multifamily residential HVAC systems. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
