- $2500! Bring climate control expertise to Oklahoma's commercial facilities! We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in retail, office, and institutional buildings for a long standing mechanical business in OKC! Position Overview As an HVAC Service Technician, you will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures, perform preventative maintenance, and repair complex HVAC systems. You'll collaborate with service managers, dispatchers, and clients to resolve system issues promptly, restore performance, and ensure systems run at peak efficiency. This full-time role offers consistent hours, optional overtime, on-call rotation, and a clear path for career growth. What You'll Do Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic manuals. Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain air handlers, condensers, furnaces, chillers, and rooftop units. Troubleshoot thermostats, controls, sensors, and electrical panels per manufacturer specifications. Charge systems with refrigerant, perform leak tests, and execute refrigerant recovery in compliance with EPA standards. Calibrate airflow, temperature, and pressure settings for balanced comfort and energy efficiency. Conduct preventative maintenance schedules, component replacements, and client walkthroughs. Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and local code requirements. What You Bring 2+ years of commercial HVAC service, repair, and troubleshooting experience. EPA Section 608 certification (Type I, II, III, or Universal) required; NATE certification preferred. Strong electrical wiring diagnostic skills and familiarity with HVAC controls and BARS systems. Hands-on experience with refrigerant handling, recovery, and leak detection tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service abilities. Reliable attendance record, valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and commitment to safety and quality. OK Mechanical Apprentice or Journeyman license preferred.
Pay & Benefits Pay Range:
$20.00 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift:
Day shift, Monday-Friday, with optional overtime and rotating on-call availability
