Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to design, maintain, and repair various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently in the field while ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service.
MUST BE ABLE TO PROBLEM SOLVE ON YOUR OWN.
Duties Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and heating units. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welders to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues. Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including refrigerate and boil operations. Provide field service support by responding to service calls and addressing customer needs promptly. Collaborate with team members on system design projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of HVAC installations. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job. Help train apprentices when the work flow allows. Qualifications Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair. (5 YEARS
SERVICE EXP. MINIMUM
) Strong understanding of air conditioning systems and their components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Ability to weld and perform necessary repairs on HVAC equipment. Familiarity with property maintenance practices related to heating and cooling systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
