HVAC Service Technician, join our team now Jack Lehr Heating, Cooling & Electric is a local, employee owned company with 52 years of experience in the residential HVAC industry. We provide home comfort system installations, replacements, repairs, and modifications, and we are committed to excellent service in all our areas of expertise.
Job Purpose:
Provide superior customer service while maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Provide accurate diagnosis and honest recommendations to customer. Execute authorized work in a neat and workmanlike manner. Test all work per company procedures.
Responsibilities:
Organize work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and Establish environmental systems by mounting, installing, fabricating, or connecting condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge values, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; complete power connections Test and repair environmental systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing parts, and components Keep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs Document detailed work performed Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications Ability to work independently in a timely manner
Skills/Qualifications:
