The Commercial Construction Department is seeking an HVAC Trainee who supports shop fabrication and field installation teams while learning the fundamentals of commercial HVAC systems. This role assists with ductwork, equipment preparation, material handling, and installation tasks under supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in fabrication of ductwork (cutting, assembling, sealing, insulating) Operate basic shop tools and equipment Prepare and stage materials for job sites Load/unload trucks and verify materials Maintain a clean and organized shop Assist with equipment pre-fabrication Assist with installation of HVAC systems Support layout and measurements Transport materials and tools to multiple job sites Assist with setting rooftop units and curbs Follow foreman/superintendent direction Maintain job site cleanliness and safety
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years experience preferred Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to read a tape measure Strong work ethic Reliable transportation Represent the company professionally, honestly , and ethically in all matters
