HVAC Install Helper Key Responsibilities:
Assist HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork. Gather tools and materials required for HVAC projects. Perform basic tasks such as carrying equipment, running ductwork, and connecting electrical components. Follow instructions from HVAC technicians and learn proper techniques for HVAC installations. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety. Adhere to safety protocols and follow HVAC codes and regulations. Learn to troubleshoot basic HVAC system issues under the guidance of experienced technicians. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects. Seek opportunities for learning and skill development to grow in the HVAC trade.
HVAC Install Helper Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
