$30.00+ per hour (Based on experience) plus Company Profit Sharing.
Location:
Kingston, PA (Servicing Eastern Pennsylvania).
Job/Employment Type:
Full Time.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (With weekends, night shifts, and overtime required based on project/client needs).

Pickett Construction is seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join one of the fastest-growing professional service teams in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will serve as the face of our company in the field, providing the essential diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and rapid-response mechanical repairs that keep our commercial and industrial clients operational, safe, and successful. How You Will Make an
Impact Advanced Climate Control Execution:
Execute diverse, high-quality installations, repairs, and diagnostics across commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and walk-in refrigeration and freezer infrastructure.
Complex Diagnostics:
Isolate and troubleshoot real-time electrical, mechanical, and airflow faults on-site, ranging from compressor failures to complex automated control malfunctions.
System Optimization:
Execute meticulous preventative maintenance tracking, filter changes, coil cleanings, and system adjustments to maximize equipment lifespan and energy efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain complete EPA compliance across all refrigerant recovery, charging, and documentation workflows to uphold the company's elite reputation.
Client & Team Communication:
Communicate work order status, diagnostic findings, and material repair recommendations clearly to management and clients to ensure absolute operational transparency.
Site Safety:
Proactively identify potential jobsite hazards and implement strict safety protocols (including lockout/tagout) to protect yourself, the public, and the client's environment. Required Qualifications & Experience Significant hands-on, professional experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration units. Active EPA Universal Certification (Section 608) is strictly required. Proven proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, electrical ladders, system schematics, and utilizing advanced recovery equipment. Strong organizational skills with a highly customer-service-oriented mindset and the capacity to manage a flexible work schedule independently. Valid Driver's License and the ability to be insured by the company's auto policy are strictly required. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of proven field experience specifically in commercial facility mechanical systems or industrial refrigeration layout. Type 2 or universal refrigeration license and at least 3 years of dedicated refrigeration service / troubleshooting work. Working knowledge of complex reach-in/walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and chillers. Prior military service (Veterans are highly encouraged to apply!).
