  • Full-time About the Opportunity We are expanding!
Due to rapid company growth and a surge in long-term project volume in the Central Pennsylvania market, we are hiring skilled HVAC professionals. Instead of forcing you into a rigid box, we align our roles to your specific strengths. Whether you excel at high-end residential troubleshooting, commercial system replacements, or managing a field crew, we have a position built for you. When you apply, please let us know which of these three paths fits you best:
Residential & Commercial Service Tech:
Best for versatile technicians who love diagnosing and repairing a mix of residential and light commercial systems.
Commercial Lead Tech:
Built for seasoned commercial service mechanics who can troubleshoot complex systems, handle building automation, and lead junior team members.
Commercial Installer:
Perfect for field-focused pros who want to focus purely on heavy equipment installations, retrofits, ductwork, and new commercial construction. What You Will Do (Based on Your Path)
Diagnose & Repair:
Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, airflow, and mechanical issues on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, and boilers.
Install & Retrofit:
Hang commercial ductwork, run refrigerant lines, wire thermostats, and set heavy commercial equipment (RTUs, split systems, VAV boxes) in accordance with project drawings and building codes.
Advanced Controls:
Configure, test, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS) and digital control platforms (Lead Tech path).
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform thorough system inspections, filter replacements, belt adjustments, coil cleanings, and efficiency verifications.
Safety First:
Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, company safety protocols, and proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Crew Leadership:
Provide on-site guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior service personnel (Lead Tech path). What We Look For (Required Qualifications)
Experience:
Minimum 2 to 10+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in service, maintenance, or installation environments.
License:
A valid EPA Section 608 Certification is mandatory (Type II or Universal).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical schematics, hydronic systems, and troubleshooting.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work comfortably on rooftops, and operate in tight mechanical spaces or varied weather conditions.
Background:
A valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving history.
Communication:
A professional, customer-facing demeanor when interacting with homeowners, property managers, or general contractors. Bonus Points For (Preferred Qualifications) Active NATE Certification. Hands-on experience with VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications. Cross-training or basic knowledge in plumbing, pipefitting, or advanced sheet metal work. Factory training/certifications from major brands (Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, or Lennox).
Why HVAC Professionals Join Our Team Year-Round Stability:
We offer a highly consistent commercial and residential workload, saving you from the dreaded "shoulder season" hours drop.
Lower Out-of-Pocket Costs:
With a company vehicle, company-paid gas card, and an annual tool allowance, we keep your personal operating costs to a minimum.
Clear Career Path:
We actively look to promote from within—transitioning top installers and service techs into field leadership or project management roles.
Veteran-Friendly Culture:
We are proudly partnered with a Veteran-owned recruiting firm and highly value military technical experience. Transitioning service members with MOS codes like Army 91C, Air Force HVAC/R, Navy Hull Maintenance, or Marine Corps Utilities are strongly encouraged to apply!
