Philadelphia, PA This position is for the Railcar Division . We are looking for a Commissioning Mechanic , a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team and help shape the future of rail transportation . You'll be working on the latest Charger locomotives and Venture single-level coaches —cutting-edge diesel-electric vehicles that are connecting cities across the U.S. Learn to commission and support new locomotives and coaches. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems. Use diagnostic software and schematics to solve real-world problems. Perform field modifications to improve performance and reliability. Work closely with experienced technicians and engineers. Document your work and contribute to continuous improvement. Follow safety procedures and industry best practices.

Requirements:

A technical school diploma or equivalent (high school diploma or GED required) A strong interest in hands-on mechanical and electrical work A general mechanic , and/or service technician . Anyone who has experience working on any type of machinery or vehicle .

For example:

Cars, Trucks, Submarines, Boats, Tractors, Heavy Machinery, Welding, etc., or someone with experience working on appliances or any type of electronics. Also open to someone with construction or electrical experience. A team-oriented mindset and good communication skills A valid driver's license in good standing

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
