Job Description

This position will report to H. B. McClure Company, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global. Build Your Future with HB McClure HB McClure is hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our York service territory. Starting compensation is around $32/hour based on experience, plus a $3,500 hiring bonus for qualified technicians . Even better, our on-call rotation averages only about 2-3 times per year . What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems Service equipment including RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and VAV systems Troubleshoot electrical and control circuits Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations Work safely and independently while maintaining high quality workmanship Participate in an on-call rotation averaging only about 2-3 times per year What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to safely perform job duties, understand technical documentation, and interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with electrical schematics, refrigeration practices, and control circuits Ability to work independently in the field EPA certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to safely work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops What HB McClure Offers Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Earn company stock shares to help build your retirement Company-provided service vehicle Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with weekly company contributions Paid time off and paid holidays Annual bonus opportunities Stable, year-round commercial work Training and long-term career growth opportunities Join a Team That Values Skilled Technicians Bring your experience and problem-solving skills to HB McClure and help keep our commercial customers running safely and efficiently.
