Job Description:
As an HVAC Service and Sales Tech, you will be both a trusted technical expert and a customer-facing advisor. You'll diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems while also educating homeowners on replacement options, upgrades, and comfort solutions. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical work with consultative sales, ensuring customers receive both immediate service and long-term solutions tailored to their needs.

HVAC Service Technician Duties:
Technical Service Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Demonstrate efficient and effective problem-solving skills. Participate in manufacturer and safety training; adhere to all safety policies. Customer Consultation Conduct in-home assessments to evaluate existing HVAC systems and comfort needs. Educate homeowners on product offerings including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems. Deliver persuasive, informative presentations highlighting benefits, financing options, and installation timelines. Sales & Relationship Management Prepare accurate proposals and guide customers through decision-making. Build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the service and sales process. Track activities and progress using CRM software. Generate leads through service calls, referrals, and company-provided resources. Follow up with potential customers in a timely and professional manner. Collaboration Work closely with installation and service teams to ensure seamless project execution. Share customer insights with management to improve service and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
2-5 years residential HVAC service experience required EPA and/or RMGA in hand Proven ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong customer service orientation. Technical aptitude and willingness to learn complex product information.
