This is a key position within the company, serving as our primary service technician and playing an important role in service, system startups, commissioning, and installations. As a third-generation, family-owned company serving the Bay Area since 1976, we take pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Schedule Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Overtime opportunities available Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems Service and repair gas furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, mini-splits, and ventilation systems Perform startup, commissioning, and verification of newly installed systems Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, controls, and overall system performance Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical and control issues Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, builders, and project managers Complete service reports and documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area Support and mentor junior technicians and installers Assist with heating and air conditioning installations as needed. This is a hybrid position, and when service demand is slow, technicians must be willing and able to perform HVAC installation work.
