About the Role As a Vocational HVAC Instructor, you will leverage your extensive field experience to mentor the next generation of climate control specialists. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring students are fully prepared for high-demand careers in the HVAC industry. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive instruction on HVAC technologies, ensuring curriculum objectives are met. Facilitate hands-on training sessions within a modern, fully equipped laboratory environment. Cultivate a dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and technical mastery. Evaluate student performance through regular assessments, providing actionable feedback to drive improvement. Design and refine lesson plans that align with current industry standards and best practices. Maintain proficiency in evolving HVAC systems, refrigerants, and diagnostic tools. Collaborate with academic leadership to enhance program outcomes and student success rates. Prepare candidates for industry-recognized certification exams and entry into the workforce. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an HVAC Technician. High school diploma or equivalent credential. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse learners. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on student motivation and mentorship. Preferred Skills Prior experience in technical training or vocational education. Active industry certifications (e.g., EPA 608, NATE). Proven track record of success in field service or system installation. Passion for developing talent and advancing the skilled trades profession.
