Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications Perform system troubleshooting and repairs using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges Conduct maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure peak performance and longevity Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repairs Diagnose electrical issues within HVAC/R systems and execute appropriate repairs or replacements Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to install or repair HVAC components with precision Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems and ensure customer satisfaction Requirements Service technician experience working with HVAC systems, refrigeration Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, building automation systems, and electrical systems Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment and air conditioning units Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely; experience with maintenance equipment preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification is advantageous EPA certification for handling refrigerants; familiarity with refrigerant recovery is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Experience working with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters or multimeters is highly desirable Mechanical or mechanic experience that demonstrates troubleshooting proficiency in complex mechanical or electrical systems Join us to build a career where your skills make a tangible difference!
