Job Description
We are hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Knoxville, TN. This position focuses on residential and small commercial HVAC service work and is ideal for a technician who is confident troubleshooting systems, completing repairs, and providing professional service to customers. The Service Technician will handle a variety of service calls throughout the day, including diagnostics, repairs, routine maintenance, and system inspections. This role requires strong technical knowledge, good judgment in the field, and the ability to identify both mechanical and electrical issues and determine the appropriate course of action. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems Perform residential and small commercial service calls Complete routine maintenance and preventative service Inspect systems and identify mechanical and electrical issues Determine appropriate repairs and complete service work efficiently Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about service needs and repairs Maintain accurate service records and document completed work Keep company equipment and work areas organized Participate in the on-call rotation every third weekend Respond to emergency or after-hours service needs when scheduled Follow all company safety procedures and service standards
