Job Description

Core Responsibilities Installation:
Set up new heating units, air conditioners, ductwork, and ventilation systems following blueprints and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintenance:
Perform routine tune-ups, such as cleaning dirty coils, replacing clogged filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Use diagnostic tools like voltmeters and pressure gauges to locate electrical and mechanical faults, then fix or replace broken components.
Compliance & Safety:
Follow strict local building codes and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations regarding safe refrigerant recovery and disposal.
Customer Service:
Explain system issues and repair options to clients, provide cost estimates, and offer advice on energy efficiency.
Record Keeping:
Log completed work hours, equipment parts used, and service reports in digital management software.
