Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor comfort, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Duties Service and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; conduct wiring repairs as needed. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe installation, leak detection, and system flushing. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites and adhere to all safety protocols during field service operations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and repair. Proven service technician experience in residential settings. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents accurately. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications; familiarity with refrigeration principles is a plus. Experience working with air conditioning units, ventilation systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Understanding of maintenance practices including routine inspections and preventative maintenance routines. Field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot on-site efficiently under pressure. Mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay:

$28.00 - $36.00 per hour
