Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Equipment and HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various kitchen equipment and HVAC/R systems in commercial settings. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will ensure that our clients' equipment operate efficiently and reliably. A strong focus on customer service is essential as you will interact directly with clients to address their needs and provide solutions. We offer company provided uniforms, on-call stipend and overtime pay. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, ovens, fryers, and HVAC systems. Perform repairs on various types of kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assemble and install new kitchen equipment according to schematics and manufacturer specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of appliances. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used for inventory management. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve operational efficiency. On-call rotation for 1 week. On call stipend will be issued when you cover your week completely. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in appliance repair and/or HVAC services. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Proficiency in electrical systems related to kitchen and HVAC/R equipment repair. Experience in refrigerate systems maintenance is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
