If you have hands-on experience with ductwork installation, layout, and field fabrication—or you're a motivated helper looking to grow your career in the trades—we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities f or Sheet Metal Mechanics Install, assemble, and secure HVAC duct systems , including rectangular, spiral, and round duct Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications Perform layout, measurements, and job site coordination Install VAV systems, dampers, diffusers, grilles, and registers Handle hangers, supports, and seismic bracing installation Perform field modifications and fabrication as needed Ensure proper airflow alignment and sealing (SMACNA standards) Coordinate with other trades (electrical, plumbing, piping) to avoid conflicts Maintain compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations For Sheet Metal Helpers Assist mechanics with duct installation and material handling Load/unload materials and maintain organized work areas Measure, cut, and prep materials under supervision Help install hangers, supports, insulation, and sealed connections Use basic hand and power tools safely Follow instructions from lead mechanics and supervisors Maintain job site cleanliness and safe working conditions Types of Projects Commercial office buildings Hospitals & healthcare facilities Data centers Schools & universities Retail centers and large-scale developments Industrial facilities Work includes: Overhead duct installation Roof-top unit (RTU) connections Mechanical room installations Sheet metal fitting and sealing Retrofit/renovation systems Insulated and lined duct systems Physical Requirements Ability to work at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding) Lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs regularly Work in various environments (heat, cold, tight spaces) Stand, kneel, bend, and climb throughout the day What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Weekly Pay Overtime opportunities Steady, long-term work Health benefits (if applicable)
