FullTime Pay $28.00•$38.00 per hour Hourly rate is determined by field experience, skill level, performance, and participation in ongoing technical training. Position Summary West Techs Chill Water Specialist is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair airconditioning systems across commercial and industrial facilities. This role is ideal for a technician who is confident handling standard service calls independently while continuing to grow into more advanced systems and highertonnage equipment. You'll work closely with our service leadership and technical teams to diagnose issues, restore system performance, and deliver a professional service experience to our customers. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment Respond to assigned service calls and complete work efficiently and safely Support diagnostics and repairs on larger systems (25+ tons) as experience permits Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, sequence of operations, and manufacturer documentation Assess system condition and assist with repair or replacement recommendations Communicate findings, options, and next steps clearly to customers and coworkers Document service activity accurately using company service software Participate in a rotating oncall schedule to support emergency service needs Provide feedback to leadership regarding training opportunities, parts usage, and jobsite issues Maintain companyprovided vehicle, tools, and work areas in a clean, professional condition Required ExperienceSkills Universal EPA Certification Demonstrated experience servicing commercial HVAC systems Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical documentation Working knowledge of commercial troubleshooting practices 2-5 years of handson commercial HVAC experience (larger tonnage exposure preferred) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently while recognizing when escalation is needed Willingness to continue technical development and accept responsibility for assigned work Organized documentation habits and attention to detail Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Onehour lunch Rotating oncall schedule Occasional nights or weekends based on service demands Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Shortterm disability coverage 401(k) with employer contribution Paid vacation, sick time, and company holidays
