In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system setups and repairs. Conduct inspections of mechanical components using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper operation. Service various mechanical systems including plumbing fixtures, appliances, and property maintenance equipment to uphold safety standards. Utilize field service techniques for on-site repairs and preventative maintenance across diverse property types. Repair and maintain HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment with precision and attention to detail. Operate welding tools and perform equipment repairs that require mechanical knowledge and technical skill. Skills Proven experience in construction-related HVAC projects or service technician roles with a strong understanding of HVAC systems. Extensive knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration processes, and mechanical components. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R applications for specialized environments. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and equipment repair. Mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair, boiler maintenance, welding techniques, and property maintenance tasks. Strong field service background with excellent problem-solving skills in diverse settings. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for on-the-go service calls.
