This is a ground-floor opportunity with a growing company where your technical expertise and input will actually matter. You will leverage extensive field service experience to ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems across diverse property types, while also operating independently, communicating professionally, and growing into a leadership role as the company expands. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC/R equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and appliances using technical schematics and diagnostic tools Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Lead installation projects involving HVAC design plans, schematics interpretation, welding, and mechanical assembly for new or upgraded systems Conduct field service operations including plumbing repairs, refrigeration servicing, ammonia refrigeration system management, and equipment replacement Maintain and repair complex machinery such as boilers and other property infrastructure components Deliver a high-quality customer experience on every visit and maintain clear communication with customers and office staff Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, system performance reports, and compliance records Identify repair and replacement opportunities and communicate findings professionally Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians on technical procedures including HVAC/R troubleshooting, appliance repair, and equipment repair techniques This role is designed to grow over time into Lead Technician, Field Supervisor, and eventually Service Manager. You will help set the quality standard for the entire service department. Benefits and Perks Take-home company vehicle Fuel card Company phone and tablet Required tools and equipment provided Tool reimbursement program available Paid training including technical and leadership development Paid time off Qualifications 5 or more years of HVAC service experience required Proven experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration including ammonia refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance Ability to read and interpret schematics and HVAC design plans accurately Hands-on experience with field service operations including equipment repair, welding, and boiler maintenance Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues within HVAC systems Strong mechanical knowledge including appliance repair and property maintenance Professional communication skills and ability to work independently Leadership mindset and willingness to help develop a team EPA Certification required Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Preferred but not required: experience training junior technicians, strong customer service and upsell ability, certifications in HVAC/R systems, interest in growing into a leadership role. Schedule Full-time. Occasional weekend or emergency availability may be required.
