The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including new construction installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various plumbing projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using various tools and techniques. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading and welding as required for specific projects. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects to ensure plumbing is integrated effectively. Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all plumbing work. Handle heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and equipment. Skills Proficient in pipe threading, assembly, and installation techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Experience with construction plumbing and remodeling projects is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution. Familiarity with operating power tools safely in a construction environment. Valid commercial driving license preferred for transporting materials to job sites. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
