Job Summary Apply in person is a plus!!!!! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumber/HVAC Helper/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and HVAC systems across commercial and residential projects. Paid training is provided to ensure you gain the necessary expertise for success in this multifaceted role. Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems. Support plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, fixture installation, leak detection, and system troubleshooting. Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup. Use hand tools, electrical diagnostics equipment like ohmmeters, and other mechanical tools to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Help with electrical system diagnostics related to HVAC/R equipment and building automation systems for optimal performance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper handling of refrigerants like ammonia or other hazardous materials. Assist in system testing, commissioning, and routine maintenance to ensure HVAC/R systems operate efficiently and reliably. Qualifications Construction experience or background in mechanical trades is prefered but not required. Prior service technician experience or hands-on work with HVAC or plumbing systems is a plus. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration systems is desirable. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge including boiler operation, air conditioning units, and HVAC system repair is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with equipment troubleshooting required. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van or company vehicle as needed. Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification or HVAC licensing are a plus but not mandatory; training provided if necessary. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 75.0 per week
