HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking HVAC Technician to join our team. The role offers a flexible schedule with shifts primarily from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, approximately one week per month, covering after-hours and weekends. This role involves operational management and leadership of the engineering team, focusing on maintaining and improving building systems to ensure 100% uptime and asset protection. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain refrigeration, water cooling, air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating, and hot water equipment. Oversee repair and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, determining the necessary frequency. Ensure an adequate inventory of tools and supplies and manage purchase order requests. Supervise contractors working within the buildings. Identify and remediate safety hazards, ensuring a safe environment for staff and occupants. Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines related to building infrastructure. Maintain infrastructure and compliance documentation, including building drawings and single-lines. Provide training and demonstrate the proper use of tools and maintenance procedures. Essential Skills 5 years of facility-related work experience, including customer service, leadership, and supervisory experience. Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes. Understanding of construction planning and execution. Experience with HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems. Proficiency with technology, including CMMS and Microsoft Office 365. Additional Skills & Qualifications Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs or obtain within 90 days of employment. Valid HVAC and EPA certifications. Valid electrical certifications. Skills in electrical troubleshooting (50V-480V) and industrial maintenance up to 480V. Experience with CRM systems and plumbing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
