Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system setups and repairs Conduct routine inspections of air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment—including ammonia refrigeration systems—and plumbing fixtures to identify issues early Perform field service tasks such as appliance repair, equipment maintenance, and mechanical adjustments to optimize system performance Utilize tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or modifications Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, including reports on repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for client records Operate a driver vehicle safely to travel between job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and property maintenance Proficiency reading schematics and technical diagrams for accurate troubleshooting and installation Experience with HVAC design principles to recommend system improvements or upgrades Knowledge of plumbing systems and appliance repair techniques relevant to HVAC environments Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and the use of specialized tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics Field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently in diverse settings under tight deadlines Welding skills for custom fabrication or repair tasks involving metal components Mechanical experience with boilers, pumps, valves, and other essential equipment used in commercial or residential facilities Join us if you're passionate about delivering high-quality HVAC solutions!
