A sign-on bonus is available, and the salary is negotiable based on experience. Experience with VFDs is required for this position, and building controls experience is a plus. The optimal candidate will be responsible for various field service duties including troubleshooting, repair, installation and maintenance. Primary types of field equipment include Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) up to 300hp, Gas Detection systems and components. To be successful you must be self-motivated, honest, team-oriented, meticulous, reliable and possess good customer service skills. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, inspect and repair VFD's and Gas Detection systems Provide warranty start up and repair for VFD and GDS equipment Perform field installation and replacement of equipment Be willing to participate in online, field and remote continuous education curriculum Effectively communicate with customers, sales and support operatives Complete legible and detailed customer facing reports Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Operate and maintain service vehicle Physical and mental requirements Sit or stand for extended periods of time Occasionally and safely lift or move up to 70 pounds Use of step ladders Laptop and cellphone use to access web-based programs Use of basic hand tools, power tools, volt/ohm meter Experience Some VFD and/or Gas Detection experience BAS experience, a plus OSHA10 and NFPA70e competent, a plus 2+ years experience in Commercial HVAC or Electrical service Qualifications High school diploma Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills Basic understanding of Drive application and operation Clean driving record A positive perspective PI286834773
