Hunton Services is a family-owned organization that has proudly served the Houston market for over 40 years, specializing in HVAC, mechanical, and building systems. The Light Commercial HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing light commercial HVAC systems. Responsibilities:
Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair light commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and associated components Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues efficiently and safely Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls as needed Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and promptly Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and professional manner Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as required Qualifications & Experience 2-5+ years of commercial or light commercial HVAC service experience preferred EPA Universal Certification Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) certification/licensure as required for the position. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and communication High school diploma or GED required Licenses & Requirements Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, consistent with company and insurance requirements Ability to safely operate company vehicles and travel to customer sites as required Physical & Work Environment Requirements This position involves performing essential job functions that may include: Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds Climbing ladders, working at heights, and accessing rooftops Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).Similar jobs in Houston, TX
