Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Helper and be a vital part of maintaining comfortable, safe, and efficient building environments! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled HVAC technicians in installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems. Your hands-on work will support the delivery of top-notch climate control solutions while gaining valuable experience in the HVAC industry. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills, learn industry standards, and contribute to building comfort and safety for our clients. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems following schematics and design plans. Support technicians in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems using hand tools and electrical diagnostics. Help perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Aid in the inspection of electrical systems, plumbing connections, and building automation systems related to HVAC equipment. Support equipment repair activities by assisting with component replacement and system adjustments. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols during all tasks. Assist in jobs around our shop Requirements Construction experience or previous hands-on work in mechanical or building trades is preferred but not required. Service technician experience or familiarity with HVAC system repair is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members. transportation to our location. Willingness to learn about building automation systems, electrical systems, air conditioning units, and other mechanical components involved in HVAC work.
