Technician Level II The candidate must be an excellent communicator, have a positive attitude, and be self-motivated. Must be flexible, able to multi-task and have the capacity to work calmly in a fast- paced environment. Along with running normal service calls, he will be a "go to" person for technical assistance and follow up on service calls performed by Technician I and installations performed by subcontractors and installer/apprentice. Must be accomplished in providing a superior customer service experience, as it pertains to the retail business of heating and cooling, in the residential environment. He will have strong technical ability and be able to share knowledge with coworkers. He must have a strong sense of leadership, ambition, and desire to help others be successful. He must have a strong work ethic, a strong buy-in to the common practices and processes, and be able to work closely with a team of other Technicians, and Managers to help develop, and carry out the goals and visions of the company as a whole
SALARY RANGE
$25-$35 per hour, depending on experience; plus bonus and commissions
Hours :
varies; rotating "on-call" schedule; some evenings and weekends
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass Pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check 7+ years of experience conducting service repair work and quoting installations Must have good communication and people skills Must have good hygiene and a clean and neat appearance Certificates of training and accomplishments are a must Must be registered with the State of Texas as a certified technician Maintain EPA certification card Continuing Education 16 hours each year
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have strong technical ability, able to quickly assess and diagnose HVAC equipment normally encountered in the residential and commercial environment. Must have in depth technical knowledge of IAQ products, Ventilation, Filtration, surge protection, etc.. Applicants must have strong communication and presentation skills. Must have extraordinary ability to work as part of a team. This is a role requiring patience and understanding in the ongoing challenges of helping others achieve their goals. Must have a background in presenting IAQ, Maintenance Agreements, and other system upgrades.
