Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse property types. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex HVAC and deliver exceptional service that keeps environments comfortable and operational. Your hands-on skills will ensure optimal system performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced field service setting. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Install new HVAC systems following design specifications and schematics, ensuring proper integration with plumbing and electrical components. Conduct troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical or mechanical faults. Repair or replace mechanical parts, including motors, compressors, valves, and weld components when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans. Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving welding, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R), and other mechanical systems. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field testing devices effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving driver preferred. Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in the field under minimal supervision.
