The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves interpreting technical schematics, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Technician leads and mentors team members, manages service calls, and supports preventive maintenance programs to optimize system performance and reliability. About the team:

The Facility Services HVAC-Refrigeration team is dedicated to installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Team members collaborate closely to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards. They support each other by sharing expertise, mentoring, and following established procedures to deliver quality service. The team uses advanced tools and digital systems to manage workloads and respond promptly to service needs. What you'll do: Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial and industrial equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime. Conduct inspections and repairs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including refrigerant handling protocols. Lead and mentor field teams on technical procedures and safety practices. Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and maintain accurate documentation and inventory. Operate company vehicles safely to complete service assignments within assigned regions. What you'll bring: Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings. Ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate system configuration and compliance. Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing effective solutions. Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols. Experience leading teams and mentoring technicians on technical procedures and safety practices. Strong communication skills to explain technical issues and coordinate with customers and service providers. Capability to manage service calls, inventory, and documentation using digital tools. Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
