The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a mechanic's mindset and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of all HVAC systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Recommend system upgrades when needed Conduct repairs on appliances related to HVAC systems. Weld components as necessary for system repairs or modifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all operations. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to build and repair various systems. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Familiarity with appliance repair techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R are highly desirable.
