Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Punch Technician specializing in new construction projects to join our dynamic team. This role involves executing punch list tasks for HVAC systems in new building developments, ensuring all installations meet quality standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Review construction schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to understand project requirements. Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC installations during punch list phases to identify deficiencies or incomplete work. Perform troubleshooting, equipment repair, and adjustments on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration setups. Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper functioning of mechanical components. Collaborate with construction teams, service technicians, and property maintenance personnel to resolve HVAC-related issues efficiently. Document all findings meticulously, prepare detailed reports on punch list items, and communicate necessary repairs or modifications clearly. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes throughout the punch process. Experience Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, boiler systems, and appliance maintenance. Familiarity with field service operations involving air conditioning systems and property maintenance tasks. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues confidently.
