EPAII, EPA
Universal, or other industry standard HVAC certifications, as HVAC repair will be a key component of this job, as well as CPO (certified pool operator) certification (this certification can be completed after hiring if candidate does not currently have it). The HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician maintains the physical condition and appearance of our portfolio of properties. This position is accountable for identifying problems, completing service requests, and making repairs in order to maintain the material and aesthetic condition of the communities. The Maintenance Technician works in accordance with operating and safety standards, ensuring requests and repairs are made in a reliable, timely manner to residents' satisfaction; anticipating and evaluating potential problems; and then proactively develops plans to counter challenges. Must be able to complete essential tasks without direct supervision or oversight. Job Duties Include Painting Carpentry Flooring install Pool Maintenance Maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.) Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc…) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) Pickup materials from stores as needed Anything else assigned by management. Willing to work overtime and on call for maintenance emergencies Able to work outside for long hours Landscaping and groundskeeping Repair and Install HVAC systems required Qualifications Proven experience as maintenance technician Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices High school diploma or equivalent Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant fields will be a plus Requirements HVAC Certification Required Must be willing to live on property Set of basic hand tools and equipment necessary for performing routine maintenance tasks. This may include, but is not limited to: wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, and other specialized tools relevant to the trade. Drivers License Car Insurance Vehicle Ability to lift 25-100 lbs alone Smartphone Clean Driving Record Background Check and Drug Testing will be part of the review process.
