Mechanical Field Foreman - HVAC

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Foreman to lead multiple installation crews and oversee commercial/industrial projects from kickoff through completion. This role is responsible for field execution, workforce coordination, quality control, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong planning skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and schedule multiple HVAC sheet metal installation crews across various job sites Coordinate daily and long-term field operations in collaboration with Project Managers and Superintendents Plan project workflow, installation sequencing, and proactively manage labor, materials, and equipment needs Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Conduct detailed quality control inspections and pre-walks to ensure readiness for official inspections and sign-offs Serve as the primary field point of contact for General Contractors and internal project teams Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays or cost overruns Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (6-12 hours per day) Work in outdoor and indoor construction environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and varying weather conditions Willingness to work weekends and travel or stay out of town as required by project demands Use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times

Qualifications & Requirements:

3-5+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience 1-2+ years in a leadership role (Foreman, Lead Foreman, or Superintendent level) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork installation, and industry standards Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Experience with project scheduling, manpower planning, and material coordination Solid understanding of job costing and budget control OSHA 30 certification (preferred or required) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
