Our company is committed to quality work and supporting the community. We are hiring qualified, public-facing, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technicians for our Service Department team. Precision, quality of work, and customer service are necessary for this role. Understanding of work in residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Jacobs Cathey Co. is a drug-free workplace. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building system diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct various diagnostic tests using tools to identify faults in HVAC systems and mechanical components. Repair and service HVAC equipment by replacing parts, adjusting controls, and ensuring optimal operation. Ensure compliance with OSHA. Ensure compliance with EPA regulations for refrigerant handling and safety standards during system servicing or installation. Explain system issues to clients. Prepare and maintain relevant paperwork. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance. Construction experience is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving. OSHA, EPA, MSHA, and other relevant certifications.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
